British artist Nicola Durvasula, who is exhibiting her work in the city after four years, presents I Am Here at Galerie Mirchandani + Steinruecke. The show, curated by Grant Watson, comprises intricate figure drawings on paper, and small sculp-tures. The theme revolves around Durvasula's interaction with the art fraternity in India. In one of the drawings — A panoply of art-ists, critics and other arts-related people (2008-2012) - you will spot art critic Ranjit Hoskote, photographer Ram Rahman, as well as, artists Bharti Kher, Krishen Khanna, Atul and Anju Dodiya, among others. Other drawings at the show are also based on portraits including those of Hyderabad-based-poet Hoshung Merchant (in picture) and artist C K Rajan. The exhibition is on view till November 24.
